The growing role of clusters in creating a competitive economy
In the new financial perspective for 2014-2020, the European Union strongly supports the development of clusters, which are to play an important role in the economy. The last years’ interest in the cluster problems increases successively because the possibility of achieving significant benefits from the membership in cluster structures is observed. Clusters become the more and more appreciated element in the formulation of innovation and competitiveness. They constitute the power of the economic development.
